OT Scroller Modul PHP Problem was created by Mario Niederer

The Modul have a problem with new PHP 5.4 Version!

Here the error message on the frontend:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/testplat/www/testplatz.ch/active_communication_j2514/modules/mod_ot_scroller/helper.php on line 40

Pleas help me as soon as possible.
