problem with the search

There is a problem with the search.
Search plugin throws "-" character of the keyword.
For example, looking for "123-456", gives the result of "123456".
Please, help with this

Hi,
It seem the filter of com_virtuemart cut the character '-' (also will cut some character such as '#', '>', '<', '\\', etc. ) when parse the keyword.
This action done in core of com_virtuemart so we can't help with the template and template override. Hope they fixed this soon or provide an option.
