hello, the version with the IE problem is Joomla 1.6. we have spend several days rebuilding all the pages of the law firm site. My question is, can I upgrade to your 2.5 version? if so will it wipe out all our articles? or would we need to do a fresh install. Also, there is no 1.6 version. If we cannot use the 2.5 version of joomla which should we use to update the template safely.

So you should rebuild your site with quickstart demo (joomla version 2.5.7 and you can easy update to 2.5.9) so it's better.
