TOPIC: Changing theme font

Changing theme font 3 years 6 months ago #4799

Dear admin,

OT Winter Fashion is a very nice theme but unfortunately its current header font Oswald doesn't support Vietnamese character (Unicode, UTF-8) so I consider changing its theme font. What is the quickest way to do that?

Best Regards,

Hello,

There's only way, you should change the font to compatible with your language (supports UTF-8)

Thanks

Dear admin,

OmegaTheme works fine with one-level categories, but when I added sub-categories (e.g. Piano, Guitar under Western Instruments category), the main page category block start to break like this (see attachment file)

For live demo of error, please go to this link: phuongbaomusic.com/index.php?id_category...r=category&id_lang=7

Please kindly advise.

Error 1: Category block on the left pane cannot display its sub-category items.
Error 2: The menu bar disappears from the header, which I did nothing even changing any menu items.

Please investigate and provide me support ASAP.

Hi,

I also would like to change the font, at least in some parts of the theme, because the font does not support the polish codding (letters like ł ś ć and so on) ;)
How to do it? I am a beginner, so please be specific on the aproach ;)

You can open file global.css and then find:

font-family:"Oswald"; and change your font here

I did add to the Oswald font name in the global.css file the suffix "&subset=latin,latin-ext", so now everywhere there is "font-family: Oswald&subset=latin,latin-ext", and there are latin (also polish) font styles.

thanks

You should add more "line-height:normal;" element to all place that use that font as code below, i added that css element for h1 product title.
#pb-left-column h1 {
color: #716463;
font-family: "Oswald";
font-size: 24px;
font-weight: normal;
margin-bottom: 10px;
padding-bottom: 5px;
text-transform: uppercase;
line-height: normal;
}
