Turn Off Categories on Home Page? was created by Leonard Wendland

How do I remove the Categories (images) from the home page? (Not the sidebar categories menu)

I just want Featured Products to show on the home page.

With some courageous experimenting and some thought provoking "module manipulation techniques" I got it to working the way I want.
