Please leave your website link here so we can see your problem.

It seem to be the product image you uploaded is too big, so I have a suggest that you can limit the size of large thumbnail image in the larger thumbnail viewport.
Edit the file:

Code:

templates/ot_boutiquebox/css/virtuemart.css

Then find the selector:

.product-images-details .large-thumbs img.LargeThumbs {...}

and put the max-width and / or max-height to fit the viewport.
