Adding products not showing front end

On importing products into virtumart, and setting as featured, and removing featured from those on home page, nothing changes, can anyone shed a light on why that is. I have deleted the web cache so there does not seem to be a reason why the new ones wont show but the originals on the template still do?

Have you tried to delete cache on admin? administrator / System / Clear cache
